A. The word candid, means natural. Its not a photography technique but rather a style of photography which captures moments as they happened. Photos that capture the smile, the tears, the fun, the frolic, the true emotional sense of the moment as it happened.

As candid wedding photographers, we have to be on our toes all the more, because we can’t pass a shot with a bad expression as candid. A. Yes! As much as we love pictures as moments frozen in time, no Indian wedding is complete without a filmy video. But, we do it with a difference!
To keep it really simple, Cinematography, as we like to call this art, is traditional videography with a filmy-tadka. Allow us to get a really creative team on board and shoot your wedding in the form of a movie that you can watch endlessly and remember your marriage by for the rest of your life. Deliverables include a 5-6 min wedding trailer, 25-30 min wedding film.
Sure to bring both, a smile on your faces, and tears in your eyes, every time you watch it. Guaranteed!
A. Both! You get all of the tastefully processed electronic copies of photos from your event. YES! Unlike most photographers, we even process the ones that didn’t make it to the photobook. And then, depending upon your package chosen, you also get a printed photobook in the form of a Coffee Table Book. This is basically a story book that tells your wedding story as it unfolds with candid moments that will take you back to your special day whenever you’re seeing it.
These photobooks are custom designed for you inhouse and then printed with award winning vendor partners.

A. Well, the good news is, our previous clients apparently say, “Not enough”, for the pictures we made of them. 😀

A. Photos that we create with so much of love and dedication are quite naturally extremely close to our heart, And we make every possible effort to safeguard them against technical failures of all kinds.
We use multiple cameras on each photographer, in camera backup cards, multiple cards for each camera, and finally multiple backups of your pictures in multiple hard drives. All of this, to decrease the probability of failure to minimum. This ensures peace of mind for us and lets us concentrate on the main job at hand, creating stunning pictures. 🙂
A. Well, of course! If you have already gone through the TESTIMONIALS from our clients on the home page, and still want to speak to some of our previous clients, we would be happy to share their contact information with you. Send us a request on email, so that we can take their prior permission before passing on the information to you.
A. As unimportant as this is, I think you might still like the answer. 🙂 We use state of the art full frame cameras, Lenses that range from ultra wide to wide aperture zoom lenses like the mighty 70-200mm f/2.8 Mark II and lots more.
We have back up equipment ready at all times, comprising of Backup cameras, lenses, batteries, flashes, CF cards, everything.
A. Errrrr…… I guess!
A. Frankly, we think you will end up with better pictures if you give a bad camera to a good photographer, than a good camera to a bad photographer. 🙂 There’s only one thing that beats experience, and that is – more experience. However, let there be no confusion about the fact that, photography is an art that’s executed with the help of technology. The thought is more important indeed, but without the right equipment, its just that – a thought. Equipment only and ONLY gives you more freedom of execution.
For instance if your lens doesn’t support a really wide aperture, nothing else can get you the shallow depth of field that you require in your shot. No amount of experience can get you that on a f/5.6 lens. However, what’s important is to understand and believe that, one can still create a beautiful picture.
A. hahahaha. 😀 😀 😀 Would you rather have us worrying about our million rupee camera kit or the ‘Maang mein sindoor’?
Jokes apart, this guy is a BIGGG part of how and why we are as good as we are. Responsible for ensuring we are in good health, fed properly, setting up lighting, handing us the required lens at the right time, batteries, cards and millions of other things. Even shooting for us when we’re taking a quick breather.
Quite naturally then, his team codename is Jarvis. And trust me, I’m not kidding. 🙂
A. We understand how excited you will be to look at your pictures and hence, we take pride in our industry leading 30 – 45 days delivery timeline, depending upon the workload.
However, if you’re flying out of country after marriage, or for any other reason you want your photos even sooner than that, contact us for the additional cost factor.
A. Yes. While we give you full rights to personal usage of the photos, as photographers, we retain all rights to the photos.
Sharing is important especially because of the ever improving and evolving work that we do. So we may share a limited amount of photos from your events on our websites, in photographic competitions and on social media, among other non-commercial channels. These are shots that you would be more than glad to flaunt out to the world. But just in case you prefer the events to be a private affair, we have a non-disclosure policy charged additionally at flat 40% of the project fee.
A. An assignment can be booked by initiating a transfer of 50% of the total project cost at the time of booking, 40% is payable on the 1st day of the assignment, and the remaining 10% immediately before final delivery.
A. Just like all other wedding vendors, in order to have the best, you need to book in time.
We are usually booked well in advance but depending upon availability, the range could be from few months to sometimes more than an year in advance.

I’m glad you asked. That’s a rare question actually. But when I give it a thought, my favorite client would be one
– That smiles a lot. I mean, a whole lot. 🙂
– That are so good at being a nice human being that everyone can learn so much from them.
– That books us in advance so that we can be friends with them and their family by the time we go to make memories for them 🙂
– That has become so friendly that we don’t realize we’re not shooting a wedding of our own family
– That trusts us to know, how and where to get the best pictures.
– That respects time, and our humanly possible hours of work.
– That introduces us to their LOVELY family.
– That understands and reads through all mails, agreed deliverables, conditions and costs to avoid any last minute confusion.
– That doesn’t book us a room they can’t spend a night in.
– That knows, getting 25 photographers at their wedding is not a good idea.
– That absolutely loves, and adores their darling better half. 🙂 And kisses them during the course of their wedding. And makes them blush. So that we can take pictures of all of these events. 🙂
– That knows, because we at 2k Photography really respect time, we will deliver on time and doesn’t call us up each day to ask us to hurry.
